About claude-history
claude-history is a command-line tool for querying and exporting conversation history from a coding assistant’s local storage. It maps filesystem paths to the assistant’s internal storage format and can filter histories that include sub-agent sessions and tool calls. This makes it possible to examine programmatically how a coding session unfolded across agent activity. The utility is intended for developers who need to search, analyze, or export agent history from the terminal. Access to session records can support review, debugging, or personal archive workflows. claude-history provides structured access to locally stored conversations, including activity from child agents and tools, through a scriptable interface.
