About Claude Usage Tray

Claude Usage Tray displays subscription usage limits in the Windows system tray. It shows percentages, time windows, reset countdowns, plan information, usage history, and token or cost analytics derived from local coding-session logs. To retrieve usage bars, it reads an OAuth credential already stored by the companion command-line tool and uses the same usage endpoint; it does not write to that tool’s configuration. The product requires the command-line tool to have been installed and signed in at least once. Session-based analytics can work offline, and the evidence says the tray app does not send telemetry. It shows usage percentages and reset countdowns. Usage percentages require the companion CLI to be signed in.
