About Clay Tablet
Clay Tablet is an Android drawing and writing app for practicing cuneiform. It provides a scrollable tablet-like canvas where users can create signs and compose Mesopotamian text from scratch. The wedge marks used in cuneiform can be adjusted in size and behavior, giving learners a way to experiment with the shapes and strokes as they practice. Basic drawing tools include undo, redo, and an eraser, so users can revise a line or clear marks while working. The canvas can be scrolled to provide room for longer compositions than fit on the screen at once. These functions make the app useful both for simple writing practice and for creating longer cuneiform-style texts. Clay Tablet focuses on manual drawing and practice. The supplied description says that transliteration and a complete cuneiform character library were planned for future updates, so those capabilities are not part of the features described here.
