About Clipeus
Clipeus is a small utility for clearing the device clipboard. It has no user interface: tapping its app icon triggers a clipboard cleanup. Users can optionally grant notification-listener access so the app can respond to the screen turning off and clear the clipboard automatically. This permission is optional and is used for detecting that screen-off event. The app is intended to remove clipboard contents on demand or as part of a screen-off routine. It does not provide a visible clipboard history or a clipboard manager interface. The supplied description notes that the clear action may not work on Samsung devices because the system does not honor the relevant API call there. Clipeus is free and open-source software. Its operation is deliberately minimal: manual cleanup is started from the app icon, while automatic cleanup depends on notification-listener permission and the device’s handling of clipboard clearing.
