About codex-threadripper
codex-threadripper makes Codex thread history visible after a user changes model providers. It updates the provider field associated with threads in the local application state and in rollout files, aligning those records with the currently active provider. This addresses a situation where sessions created under a different provider no longer appear in the session list. After the update, resume commands, the desktop application, and app-server clients can see the thread history associated with the active provider. The tool works with the local SQLite state database and the first line of rollout JSONL files, changing provider metadata so existing conversations can be found across provider switches. codex-threadripper is intended for users who move between providers and want to retain access to existing thread history. It adjusts local session metadata rather than recreating or rewriting conversation content.
