Compete

About Compete

Compete lets people create challenges with measurable disciplines and compare accomplishments in public or private groups. A challenge can include multiple disciplines, such as sports, creative, health, or mindfulness activities, with a start date and a period for participants to complete them. Participants enter their results, and the app generates rankings after a discipline’s due date. Users can invite friends or make a challenge available to others on the same server. Participants can view accomplishments as text, images, or videos, then react or comment. Reminders can notify participants when each discipline starts. Push notifications are supported through compatible notification services. Compete can connect to a self-hosted server configured for public access, private groups, or invite-based membership. The server is central to sharing challenges and results, so users need an account or invitation on an instance. The app is intended for friendly, measurable challenges; its description cautions against unhealthy or unlawful goals. Rankings reflect submitted accomplishments and are not independently verified.
