About Complica4
Complica4 is a four-player strategy puzzle based on lining up four pieces, with an added mechanic that lets players shift entire rows. Players place pieces on the board, but a piece does not remain fixed for the rest of the game: another piece can be used to slide its row across. The shifting board changes the positions of existing pieces and can create or break potential lines. The goal is to be the first player to have four pieces in a row. Since rows can move, a position that looks close to winning may change after another player’s move. It is possible for multiple players to have four in a row at the same time; in that case play continues until the shared winning arrangement is disrupted. The game extends a familiar alignment objective with a board-manipulation rule, requiring players to think about both the placement of their own pieces and how row shifts affect every player’s lines. Complica4 is designed for four players and is useful for groups who want a turn-based abstract game where the board can be rearranged during play. Its core challenge is planning around changing rows rather than relying on a static grid.
