About constellation
constellation builds a cross-project knowledge graph from Django codebases and serves that graph to a language-model agent through MCP. A knowledge graph represents entities and their relationships, providing a structured way to connect information across separate projects. By bringing multiple Django codebases into one graph, constellation can give a compatible agent a shared view of project knowledge. MCP provides a standard interface through which an agent can query tools or data. This setup is intended to support work that involves understanding relationships across repositories rather than inspecting one project in isolation. constellation is aimed at developers who maintain multiple Django codebases and want to make their structure available to an agent. The graph links Django projects and presents those relationships to an MCP-compatible agent; the queries available depend on the connected projects.
