About Coordinate Joker
Coordinate Joker is a geocaching add-on for generating possible waypoints from coordinate formulas. Users can enter formulas with up to two variables, and the app calculates resulting coordinates as waypoint candidates. The results can be sent to a geocaching or mapping application that can display waypoint data from GPX, KML, or KMZ files. The tool is aimed at puzzle caches where a final location depends on a formula and an unknown value, or where several candidate points need to be compared on a map. Instead of plotting each possibility manually, a geocacher can use generated waypoints to see how candidate coordinates relate to nearby paths and terrain. It can also be used with mapping apps beyond the one named in the supplied description, as long as they can display exported waypoint files. Coordinate Joker supports formulas with at most two variables. The app helps calculate and transfer candidate points; it does not determine which coordinate is correct or verify that a location is accessible.
