About copilocal
copilocal is a terminal interface for selecting a local language model and launching a coding-agent CLI against it. It discovers models available in supported local inference providers, lets the user choose one with an arrow-key interface, and ensures the selected provider’s OpenAI-compatible server is running. It then starts the coding CLI with the required environment variables scoped to that child process. If a provider is not installed, copilocal can offer an installation path.
