About CPR Beat
CPR Beat is an Android pacing timer for CPR practice or emergency response. It can produce a steady click at 100, 110, or 120 beats per minute, with the pace adjustable during a session. A 30:2 mode counts thirty compressions, signals near the final five, then paces two breaths with an adjustable pause. A separate timer can remind rescuers to switch roles. The screen shows elapsed CPR time and the start time, retaining those details after stopping so they can be shared during a handover. Audio can use the alarm channel, and optional maximum-volume behavior is available. Three click sounds, vibration, and a high-contrast display are provided, with English and Russian interfaces. CPR Beat works offline and has no account, ads, analytics, or network permission. The app explicitly describes itself as a pacing aid, not a medical device or substitute for certified CPR training. In an emergency, it directs users to call the local emergency number and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.
