About CrossWords
CrossWords is a Scrabble-like word game in which players build words by placing letter tiles next to existing letters on a board. After arranging a move, the player commits it and passes play to the next participant. The game can be played locally on one device or between devices using SMS, Bluetooth, or the internet. Players can start a match by inviting someone through email, SMS, or Bluetooth, or by having a nearby player scan a QR code. An English word list is included, and word lists for other languages can be downloaded. The build described does not support push messaging, so internet moves may not be delivered as quickly as in a version with that feature; SMS and Bluetooth play are unaffected. The game centers on turn-based word placement, with several ways to begin and exchange moves across devices.
