About CrossWorks for ARM
CrossWorks for ARM is an integrated development environment for creating software for ARM-based microcontrollers. It brings source editing, project organization and build rules together so developers can manage the code and configuration for an application as one project. A solution can be built with a single command, after which the resulting program can be downloaded directly to a target device’s flash memory. The environment also supports debugging from within the IDE through a range of target interfaces, connecting the edit, build, device programming and debugging stages of embedded development. These capabilities suit engineers working with microcontroller firmware who need to compile code and examine its behavior on hardware. CrossWorks for ARM is listed for Windows. The IDE connects source editing, project builds, device programming and on-device debugging in a single development workflow.
