About Cube Browser
Cube Browser is a desktop client for querying analytical data cubes and examining the returned results. Users can configure a query, send it to a cube hosted on a remote server and analyze the resulting data. Tables, charts and maps can be exported to other documents when a local copy is needed. The application stores setup files and data-structure files on the user’s computer, in a location that does not require administrator rights. Its normal query and analysis workflow communicates with remote servers over the internet using proprietary encryption. The stated behavior is that returned data is not stored locally unless the user exports it. Cube Browser is intended for people who need a graphical front end to structured analytical datasets. It connects query setup with review of the resulting data while keeping exports as an explicit step for creating local documents.
