About culebra
culebra is a programming language that includes a bytecode virtual machine, a just-in-time compiler, and an ahead-of-time compiler. These components give the language different ways to execute programs: through a virtual machine, by compiling code during execution, or by producing compiled output in advance. The combination of a bytecode VM with JIT and AOT compilation makes culebra a language runtime as well as a programming language. Developers can write programs for the language and use its runtime and compiler components to execute them. culebra is intended for programmers interested in a language with multiple execution paths. Its design includes both runtime compilation and ahead-of-time compilation, supported by a bytecode virtual machine.
