About Delta Çat
Delta Çat is a decentralized messenger for conversations with friends, family, groups, and communities. It supports onboarding without a phone number or other personal identifier, and allows users to connect through an email address or their own server. Its contact model is designed so unknown people cannot message or follow a user without mutual consent. The app supports multiple chat profiles and use across devices. Chat-shared tools can add features such as shopping lists, calendars, and games to conversations. It is described as working under poor or adversarial network conditions and using end-to-end encryption. Delta Çat is open-source software built on internet standards. The supplied information presents it as a flexible messaging platform with decentralized hosting and optional tools in chats, rather than a centralized social network.
