About DeltaCamera
DeltaCamera is an Android camera app that records movement as changes between successive images and combines those changes into one picture. It can show moving subjects as trails—for example, ants crossing a surface or cars moving through a night scene—while keeping the camera’s initial frame as the background. Unlike ordinary long-exposure photography, the app adds detected differences from later frames to the first captured image. Users can adjust sensitivity and choose whether changes appear as dark marks on a light background or light marks on a dark background. Keeping the camera still during capture helps the resulting image show movement rather than camera motion. DeltaCamera can produce motion studies and light-painting images, then share the result with other apps. Its controls focus on capturing and visualizing movement through frame differences rather than adjusting shutter time or editing an existing photo.
