About Desktop Plus
Desktop Plus is a fork of the GitHub Desktop application with additional Git workflow features. It supports multiple accounts, integration with third-party Git providers, commit search, and multiple stashes per branch. These additions extend a graphical Git client with tools for handling work across repositories and accounts. Users can manage repositories and inspect project history through a desktop interface, while the added search and stash options support more complex day-to-day development tasks. Support for third-party providers can help teams using Git hosting beyond the original client’s default ecosystem. Desktop Plus is intended for developers who prefer graphical version-control workflows and want these additional controls in one application. Its underlying focus remains Git repository management.
