About Dhan CLI
Dhan CLI is a Windows-oriented command-line client for workflows using the DhanHQ API v2. It provides commands for authentication, account funds, portfolios, orders, trades, instruments, quotes, historical candles, option chains, margins, electronic delivery instructions, and trader controls. The command-line interface allows these account and market-data operations to be accessed from a terminal or incorporated into scripts. Users can inspect account information, work with order and trade data, retrieve market quotes and historical price candles, and access options and margin details through the supported API workflows. Dhan CLI is intended for developers and technically oriented traders who use the DhanHQ API and prefer command-line access. It is an interface to API functions, rather than a standalone brokerage platform, and its operations are limited to the API capabilities exposed through the client.
