About Discobox
Discobox runs coding agents inside disposable, network-isolated environments on the user’s computer. Each box gives an agent a complete working environment, including permission to install packages, while keeping the user’s credentials outside the box. Actions that cross the environment boundary pass through a controlled interface. This design is intended to let an agent work freely within a contained workspace without direct access to sensitive credentials or the wider network. Disposable boxes can be created for tasks and discarded afterward, reducing the persistence of temporary changes. Discobox is useful for users who want to experiment with coding-agent workflows while separating agent access from their normal development environment. Its isolation depends on the application’s configuration and boundary controls.
