About DiskInternals Linux Recovery

DiskInternals Linux Recovery is a Windows utility for recovering files from Ext2, Ext3, and Ext4 partitions. It can restore recently deleted files as well as files deleted earlier, repair or recover corrupted files, and access data on drives that Windows cannot open. The application can save recovered files to any disk visible to Windows, including a network location. It also supports repairing damaged partition tables and attempting to restore partitions after a serious disk failure. If a partition has been formatted, the tool can attempt to unformat it. DiskInternals Linux Recovery is intended for data recovery from Linux filesystems on Windows; results depend on the damage and the remaining data on the disk.
