About Display Toggle
Display Toggle switches the built-in physical display off or on without locking the phone or stopping foreground apps. It uses Shizuku to perform the display control, so the Shizuku service must be available on the device. The app provides shortcuts and Quick Settings tiles for switching the display state. It is intended for situations where the screen should be turned off while an app continues running in the foreground, rather than using the ordinary screen-off behavior that locks or interrupts activity. A user can invoke the tile or shortcut to blank the screen during a running task and turn the display back on later without locking the device.
