About DPIBreak

DPIBreak is a Windows networking utility for modifying outgoing TLS ClientHello packets to work around Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) filtering. The ClientHello is part of the initial TLS connection setup and can expose the destination domain before encrypted application data is exchanged. DPIBreak changes how that handshake information is presented so network equipment may be less able to match the connection against a domain-based block list. The tool is designed to manipulate the TLS setup in a standards-compliant way, while the application data remains encrypted over HTTPS. It is written in Rust and is intended for users dealing with network filtering that targets the visible server name. The supplied description focuses on this specific connection-handshake technique; it does not provide a general VPN or anonymity service.
