About Droynis
Droynis is a read-only audit tool for reviewing a phone’s security and privacy settings. It checks device configuration and explains each finding in plain language, shows the raw evidence behind the result, and can open the relevant Settings screen so the user can make a change. The app does not change settings itself and is not an antivirus scanner; it audits how the phone is configured rather than checking whether installed apps are malicious. Its checks cover device integrity, including patch age, encryption, bootloader state, root, SELinux, and WebView updates. It also examines access controls such as screen locks, debugging settings, remote lock and erase, and SIM PIN; app privileges such as accessibility, device administration, notification access, and special permissions; and network or radio settings including VPN, Private DNS, Wi-Fi security, proxies, certificates, Bluetooth, NFC, and location. Most checks work without extra setup. Additional read-only checks can be enabled through ADB grants, Shizuku, or root access, and the privileged tiers run a fixed list of read-only commands. A check is marked as passed only when the app reads a value confirming it; unavailable information is shown as unknown. A score summarizes results, and checks that cannot be fixed can be muted. Droynis does not request internet access or use analytics. Reports can be exported in Markdown or JSON, with sensitive network and trusted-computer details omitted by default. It provides a structured review of settings while leaving any changes under the user’s control.
