About Endstate CLI
Endstate CLI captures and restores Windows machine state from the command line. It scans installed applications and settings, saves them to a portable file, and can reinstall the applications and restore the settings on a fresh installation. This provides a scriptable way to move a Windows setup between machines or rebuild it after reinstalling the operating system. The command-line engine supports JSON output for automation. Users can incorporate machine-state capture or restoration into repeatable scripts and inspect structured results. The tool is local-first and does not require an account or telemetry. Endstate CLI is the command-line counterpart to a desktop migration workflow. It is intended for technical users who want to preserve applications and settings as a portable state file and restore them with terminal-driven operations.
