About Endstate
Endstate prepares a new Windows PC by recording the applications and settings on an existing computer, then restoring them on a fresh Windows installation. It saves the captured machine state to one portable file that the user controls. This brings app reinstalling and settings restoration into a repeatable migration workflow. The application scans the current machine for installed programs and their settings. The saved file can then be used to reinstall those apps and restore settings on the new system. Endstate is local-first and requires no account or telemetry. Endstate is intended for people setting up a replacement or newly installed Windows computer. It combines inventory, state capture, and restoration in one process, reducing the need to recreate every application and preference manually.
