About EnforceDoze
EnforceDoze changes how Android’s Doze power-saving mode is applied after the screen turns off. It can activate Doze immediately or after a user-selected delay and can disable motion sensors so that movement does not interrupt the mode. The app can add or remove apps from the system Doze whitelist and supports automation through Tasker. Optional controls can turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data while Doze is active, with exceptions when music is playing or a hotspot is enabled. EnforceDoze can also enable Doze on some devices where the manufacturer has disabled it. The description says core benefits are available without root. Doze still periodically deactivates for system maintenance tasks, including work such as delivering notifications, so the phone is not continuously disconnected from all background activity. EnforceDoze is intended for users who want more control over standby behavior and are willing to adjust connectivity and sensor settings.
