About Ethic Compass
Ethic Compass is a magnetic compass app with a large, high-contrast heading display. It uses the phone’s orientation sensors while the screen is visible and shows direction relative to magnetic north. When the heading crosses cardinal directions, it can announce the change through accessibility services. Optional haptic feedback can provide another way to notice a direction change. The app does not require network or location permission. Readings can be affected by nearby magnets or poor sensor calibration, and the app states that it is not intended as a safety or navigation instrument. Its purpose is accessible magnetic orientation with a clear heading readout and optional local feedback.
