About Ewoc
Ewoc is an indoor cycling app for Android that connects to FTMS-compatible smart trainers and exercise bikes. During a ride, it can display live trainer telemetry and use Bluetooth heart-rate sensors. Afterward, it provides a session summary and can work with local workout files. Riders can choose bundled workouts, import structured sessions in ZWO, legacy XML, or Ewoc EWO formats, or create workouts using the built-in editor. A telemetry-only mode supports riding without following a structured workout. This lets users use the app both for planned interval sessions and for rides where they simply want to observe the trainer data. Ewoc is local-first and does not require a backend account. Its description states there are no paid feature gates, advertising, analytics, or AI-generated workout plans. It does not read Health Connect data or upload support bundles. Trainer behavior depends on the model and firmware. The product recommends an FTMS-compatible trainer and keeping other trainer-control apps disconnected during a ride, since multiple controllers may compete for the same equipment. Ewoc focuses on controlling and recording indoor rides using locally available workout files and sensor connections.
