About Exfilac
Exfilac uploads selected Android directories to S3-compatible object storage. Users grant access to folders and can choose whether their contents are uploaded recursively. The app can run uploads on a schedule or in response to device events such as taking a photo or regaining network access. Before uploading a file, Exfilac calculates a cryptographic hash and compares it with the remote copy. It skips files whose hashes already match, reducing redundant transfers. This makes the app useful for automated off-device copies of selected phone data to either a commercial or self-hosted S3-compatible destination. The app is described as having no telemetry or analytics. It sends files only to the storage service configured by the user, so the destination and its access controls matter. Exfilac is a one-way upload tool according to the supplied description; it does not describe restoring files or synchronizing remote changes back to the phone.
