Extend

Extend manages physical and virtual displays connected to an Android device.

About Extend

Extend manages physical and virtual displays connected to an Android device. It can launch an app full screen on any external display and configure resolution, scaling, density, and rotation per display. Individual display settings can be reset to system defaults. A managed virtual-display mode provides additional control over window behavior and keyboard routing. For touch control, Extend includes an on-screen touchpad and keyboard. The touchpad supports multitouch, rotation, and a digitizer-only mode. Input devices can be routed to different displays, and navigation controls such as Back and Home are available for content shown on an external screen. The built-in screen can be turned off while external displays remain active. An optional accessibility service can simulate navigation actions, draw an on-screen cursor, and read window details to direct input to the focused window on the correct display. These functions run on the device, and the product description says the information is not collected, stored, or shared. Extend is intended for people using Android with external monitors or virtual displays who need detailed control of display layout and input routing.
