About Ezhuthola: Malayalam Keyboard

Ezhuthola is an Android keyboard for typing Malayalam using English-letter transliteration, often called Manglish. A user types a Malayalam word in Latin letters and the keyboard converts it into Malayalam script; it can also suggest likely Malayalam words and handle word endings. Suggestions are ranked by word frequency, and the keyboard learns selected spellings so that preferred forms appear earlier in later use. English words typed in Malayalam mode can be rendered phonetically in Malayalam script as well. The keyboard also includes an English mode with word suggestions, completion, and autocorrection that can be undone with backspace. It recognizes common chat abbreviations and is designed to leave Manglish text unchanged while in English mode. A missing-words list in settings helps users add vocabulary that the keyboard does not yet know. A dedicated key switches between Malayalam and English, and emoji search accepts English, Manglish, and Malayalam terms. For visual expression, users can create stickers from photos with tracing, a magic wand, eraser, and shape tools, or make large Malayalam text stickers using four Malayalam fonts. Existing images and sticker packs in the stated format can also be added. Stickers are sent through supported messaging apps and remain on the phone. Clipboard history supports tapping an item to paste it and holding to pin it; passwords and one-time codes are excluded from that history. Themes include preset appearances and the option to use a personal photo. The description says the keyboard requests no permissions, including internet access, and has no account, ads, or tracking. Its transliteration and suggestions are handled by an included engine, while the listed language and keyboard features are intended to work locally on the device.
