About FFW-BOT
FFW-BOT is a Discord bot that sends notifications about fire-weather alerts in the United States. It checks for alerts and posts information to a configured Discord channel, including the alert type, affected area, severity, and expiration time. The supplied description says it checks every 60 seconds. The bot is intended to make alert information available within a community’s chat workspace, where members can see updates without repeatedly checking a separate source. Its coverage is described as alerts anywhere in the United States. The evidence does not specify configuration steps or guarantee delivery timing, so it should not replace official alert channels for safety-critical decisions.
