About FilmFlip
FilmFlip converts photographed film negatives into positive images using a phone camera. It includes a built-in backlight for illuminating a strip of film during capture, then provides controls to invert the negative and adjust white balance, gamma, contrast, brightness, and warmth. Images can also be rotated and cropped. The app brings capture and basic correction together for recovering photographs from film without a separate desktop workflow. The built-in backlight helps provide an illuminated surface for the negative, while the adjustment controls let users tune the resulting image before saving it. Inverting the negative produces a positive image, and the color and tone controls help refine that result.
