About fln
fln is a local context compiler for AI coding agents. It analyzes a codebase, helps plan which material should be included, and emits a single file prepared for use as agent context. Diagnostics provide information about the resulting context, helping users understand what was selected. The tool uses retrieval without embeddings and does not require a server, keeping the workflow on the local project. This makes it useful when a coding assistant needs a focused view of a repository but the user wants to inspect how that context was assembled. fln prepares context for an agent; it does not itself write or modify code. The result depends on the codebase and the inclusion plan used.
