About Fluffy
Fluffy is a file manager and archive viewer for Android phones, tablets, and TV devices. It can browse internal storage and folders opened through Android’s Storage Access Framework. Archives can be opened like folders or extracted, and users can choose selected items rather than unpacking everything. The supported archive types include ZIP, 7z, TAR, TGZ, TBZ2, TXZ, APK, and JAR. Encrypted ZIP archives using AES and encrypted 7z archives are also supported. File and archive operations can run as background tasks, with progress shown in a Task Center. The interface is designed to work on television screens, with directional-pad focus and large targets, while remaining available on phones and tablets. Fluffy works without a network connection and is described as having no ads or trackers. Its role combines everyday file browsing with archive inspection and extraction, including on Android TV, where a conventional touch-oriented interface may not fit as well.
