About Flym DecSync

Flym DecSync is an RSS reader variant that adds synchronization through DecSync, allowing feed data to be synchronized without a dedicated central server. The app uses a selected DecSync directory as the place where synchronization data is kept. To sync between devices, users synchronize that directory using a file-synchronization method of their choice. This separates the feed reader from the transport: Flym DecSync stores and reads the sync data, while another tool keeps the chosen directory in sync across devices. The arrangement can be useful for users who prefer to manage synchronization themselves. Flym DecSync retains the role of an RSS reading app while adding a serverless sync option. Its key dependency is access to a DecSync directory and a way to synchronize that directory; without that setup, the added cross-device synchronization is not available.
