About Fossify Messages
Fossify Messages is an SMS and MMS app for individual and group conversations. It supports sending photos and emoji, searching message history, and choosing what appears in lock-screen notifications: sender only, message content, or nothing. Users can block unwanted senders, including unknown contacts, and can also block messages containing specified words or phrases. Blocked-number lists can be imported or exported. SMS conversations can be backed up and restored through import and export, helping transfer message history between devices. The app is ad-free and open source, and its description says it operates without an internet connection. It also provides a dark theme and Material-style interface. Fossify Messages focuses on text and multimedia messaging through the phone’s SMS/MMS service, with controls for blocking, search, notification display, and backup.
