About FoxAppMemo

FoxAppMemo is an offline Android app manager for keeping personal notes and ratings about apps. Users can browse installed apps and add one to their list, or enter a package name manually. Each record can include a free-text memo, a three-level rating, a status label, and tags. The rating choices range from “not for me” through “normal” to “like,” while status labels include trying, main, avoid, blacklist, and reconsider. The app can detect an installed app’s genre and prefill it as a tag. Users can create additional tags and apply multiple tags as a way to organize or filter their list. Search and filters can narrow entries by app name or package name, status, tags, or rating. Entries can be removed with a swipe and confirmation prompt. The complete memo list can be exported as a formatted JSON file. The user chooses where to save it through Android’s system file picker, rather than granting broad storage access. The app stores its data locally and does not have internet permission, so its notes and ratings remain on the device unless the user exports them. FoxAppMemo is intended as a private catalog of personal impressions and decisions about installed software, rather than as a tool for installing or updating apps.
