About Gallery for PhotoPrism
Gallery for PhotoPrism is an Android gallery client for browsing libraries hosted by a PhotoPrism server. It presents photos and videos in a timeline grouped by day or month, with five grid sizes and quick scrolling to a chosen month. Users can search and save search configurations as bookmarks for reuse. The app can connect to both private and public libraries and supports staying signed in for a session without re-entering a password. Media tools include an enhanced live-photo viewer, a full-screen slideshow with adjustable speed, and the ability to delete items without first archiving them. Photos and videos can be imported by sharing them to the app or through its own import flow, and items can be sent to other apps. An optional memories extension surfaces media from the same day in previous years; a photo-frame widget displays random images from the library. Basic TV support allows browsing and searching the timeline with a remote. The client supports mutual TLS, HTTP Basic Authentication, and single sign-on. It does not implement every function of the web application, and compatibility with older server versions may be partial. The listed Android requirement is version 5.0 or later. Gallery for PhotoPrism is free and open source, and is intended for users who want a mobile and TV-friendly way to view and manage media in an existing PhotoPrism library.
