About Ghost Rain
Ghost Rain is a live wallpaper that displays falling characters on the home and lock screens, with an optional system-information overlay. The animated columns use a mix of Japanese syllabary characters, numbers, Latin letters, and symbols, with adjustable shimmer and brightness fading. Users can tune the animation from a slow drift to rapid changes. The optional HUD can show a custom title, memory, storage, battery, processor use, IP address, and uptime. Each element can be enabled, positioned, and resized using an on-screen preview. Home and lock screens can have separate layouts, and named arrangements can be saved for reuse. The IP address is hidden on the lock screen by default, with an option to show it. System details are read locally; the app has no internet access, accounts, tracking, or analytics.
