About gitty
gitty is a command-line helper that wraps common Git and hosted-repository tasks in shorter, human-readable commands. Its `up` command combines the add, commit, and push stages into one workflow. The tool also supports branch management, selective commits, conflict resolution, history operations, ignore-file templates, aliases, proxy support, and chained commands. These functions bring several routine source-control tasks into one command-line interface, while keeping the underlying work centered on Git. gitty runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows. Its commands bring common local and remote version-control tasks into one terminal workflow. It is designed to make common version-control actions more concise from a terminal.
