About Hacker's Keyboard

Hacker’s Keyboard is a four- or five-row Android software keyboard designed to provide keys commonly used in technical text entry. The five-row layout has a dedicated number row, familiar punctuation placement, and keys such as Tab, Ctrl, and the arrow keys. Multitouch support allows modifier keys to be used together with other keys. Around 30 languages can be enabled in settings. Completion dictionaries are supplied through separate plugins; the keyboard does not include a built-in dictionary template, and dictionaries for another keyboard framework are not compatible. The app can use contact details for completing names and email addresses, and audio input for voice typing. Its expanded layout is suited to users who need modifier and navigation keys on a touchscreen.
