About Hamburger
Hamburger is an Android news reader for content from a German public broadcaster. It presents articles in a horizontally oriented layout and includes access to teletext. Users can filter articles by words, making it possible to hide or focus on topics based on terms in the stories. The app connects only to a predetermined set of servers, according to its description, and does not include trackers. It requires Android 5 or newer. Hamburger is an unofficial client for the broadcaster’s news content, combining article access, keyword filtering, and teletext in one interface. Its supplied information does not detail offline reading, notifications, or other news sources. The app is intended for people who want a simple mobile interface to this particular German news service and a way to filter articles by chosen words.
