About Hopsan

Hopsan is an open-source, multi-domain system simulation tool for modeling systems that combine different physical domains. It includes a simulation core, reusable component models, and support for creating component libraries in C++ or a subset of Modelica. Users can build models through a graphical interface with drag-and-drop, power-port-based connections, or run simulations from a command line. The software supports multicore simulation, scripting, batch runs, and validation workflows, and can be called from external programs. Results can be saved for analysis. The supplied description does not enumerate all available physical models or specify numerical accuracy. Hopsan supports simulation and validation of engineering system models across connected components.
