About HRack
HRack is a desktop terminal for managing multiple coding-agent sessions while preserving each command-line tool's native text interface. It adds session status, attention alerts, a floating monitor, quick launch, and a read-only workspace viewer around existing terminal sessions. The application shows whether a session is thinking, using a tool, waiting for input, completed, or in an error state. Its sidebar and floating monitor help users find the session that needs attention, while the workspace viewer allows read-only browsing of files alongside the terminal. Sessions can be launched from the host or compatible WSL environments, and a session continues running if status observation fails. HRack is intended for developers who run several coding agents in parallel and need to monitor them without replacing their command-line workflow. It can discover compatible tools and launch others, although launch-only tools do not provide the same status detail as fully integrated sessions.
