About ILens
ILens is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents tools for inspecting compiled .NET assemblies. It can list types and members, search by name or method signature, decompile code into C#, summarize public APIs, and run cross-reference analysis. These capabilities support investigation of a compiled program when its source code is not the starting point. Users can locate a type or method, inspect its decompiled implementation, and examine relationships among parts of an assembly. API summaries can also help clarify what a library exposes without reading every component manually. ILens is intended for developers who want an agent to assist with .NET assembly analysis. Its command-oriented interface is designed to provide structured inspection actions to an agent, and its core tasks cover discovery, decompilation, API review, and cross-referencing.
