About Impostor MX
Impostor MX is an offline party game for groups sharing a phone. Players choose a built-in or custom category, enter names and private PINs, and set the number of impostors and the debate time. The phone then reveals a secret word to most players while the impostor sees no word, creating a social deduction challenge. Players ask questions and discuss who may be the impostor before voting. The impostor tries to blend in and infer the secret word. At the end of a round, a punishment wheel adds an optional game mechanic. Categories and rules can be customized, so groups can adapt play to their interests. Impostor MX works offline and is designed for in-person play, such as parties or trips. It supports multiple languages and is described as having no tracking or data collection. Because players take turns using the same device, they should reveal roles privately and avoid showing other players information on the screen.
