About InLook
InLook is a Windows viewer for .eml email files. It displays message headers, HTML or plain-text bodies, and attachments. The format is commonly used for saving individual email messages, so InLook provides a focused way to inspect an archived message without opening a full mail client. HTML message content is sandboxed under a content security policy that blocks remote loads and tracking pixels. The application follows the system light or dark theme, can become the default handler for .eml files, and does not access the network. InLook is intended for users who need to review saved email messages locally. It combines message rendering, attachment access, and protections around embedded HTML. Its scope is opening individual email files rather than managing an online mailbox.
