Installalogs

Installalogs records application installations and updates on an Android device.

About Installalogs

Installalogs records application installations and updates on an Android device. It can log these events automatically, or users can run a scan manually. The log can be searched by application name, package name, version name, hash, or checksum, making it possible to find a particular app or compare recorded versions. For logged applications, the app can display and copy MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 hashes. Reviewing these records can help identify that an installed app changed or was updated, including changes that were not obvious to the user. Automatic logging may not occur if the app itself has been force-stopped. Installalogs is a record-keeping and inspection tool; it does not install apps or block updates. Its search and checksum features are intended to make the history of application changes easier to review.
